QinetiQ’s ‘My Contribution’: where ideas flourish

QinetiQ has always been a company which believes in encouraging its employees to meet their full potential, whether in its graduate training and apprenticeship schemes or its 24-month self help plan. The company, with CEO Leo Quinn at the helm, launched ‘My Contribution’ as part of this plan, a channel through which QinetiQ workers were encouraged to put forward their suggestions for improved ways of working.

By harnessing the creativity, passion, energy and insight of QinetiQ employees, Leo Quinn and QinetiQ management could use the annual ‘My Contribution’ scheme to not only drive down costs and increase productivity, but also allow QinetiQ workers to be heard.

Since its conception, ‘My Contribution’ has seen over 12,000 QinetiQ employee ideas flourish into tens of millions of pounds-worth of direct benefit to both the business and its customers.
